Organizing a report release

Landmine and Cluster Munition Monitor has changed the format of its research publications:

• Country Profiles will be posted for all states and certain other areas in the coming weeks and months, and will be available here; all updated Country Profiles will be online by the end of November 2015.

Global release activities

There are many options for those of you who wish to organize an activity:
• Organize an activity to mark the release of Cluster Munition Monitor 2015 in September
• Organize an activity to mark the release of Landmine Monitor 2015 in November

Please email to tell us about your report release activity plans. The Monitor regrets that no grants are available for those wishing to organize release activities.

In the past, campaigners have carried out a range of activities to mark the report’s release, including:
• Press conferences for local and national media
• Meetings to present government officials with report findings
• Panel discussions or debates open to the media and public
• Art, music, photography, or cultural shows or exhibits
• Using the report in advocacy activities leading up to, or after, the two Meetings of States Parties

Closer to the release dates (3 September for Cluster Munition Monitor 2015 and 26 November for Landmine Monitor 2015) we will be offering resources to support release activities, including:
• Media Kits (press release, factsheets and/or briefing papers, major findings - in Arabic, English, French, and Spanish)
• Powerpoint presentations
• Social media postings

Many campaigners choose to translate some of the report or the media materials. If you would like to volunteer to translate, please email

You will also be able to pick up copies of the reports at the Monitor tables at the following meetings:
• Convention on Cluster Munitions First Review Conference, Dubrovnik, Croatia, 7-11 September 2014
• Mine Ban Treaty 14th Meeting of States Parties, Geneva, Switzerland, 30 November-December 4 2015

As in previous years, once released the reports will be available at no charge to view online or to download in PDF format.
