Support for Mine Action
In 2017, the Republic of Austria contributed €1 million (US$1.2 million) in mine action funding to two countries, as well as to the Mine Ban Treaty Implementation Support Unit.[1] In 2017, Austria’s mine action funding slightly increased, by 5%, compared to 2016.

Between 2013–2017, Austria’s funding to mine action totaled almost €3 million ($3.5 million), this is two-thirds less than the €7.4 million ($10.3 million) contributed during the previous five-year period, from 2008 to 2012.[3]
