Support for Mine Action
In 2017, the Kingdom of Belgium contributed some €780,000 (US$0.9 million) in mine action funding to four countries.[1] In 2017, Belgium’s mine action funding decreased by 70% compared to 2016 when its contribution amounted more than €2.6 million ($2.9 million).

Between 2013–2017, Belgium’s funding to mine action totaled more than €8 million ($10.3 million), this is three-quarters less than the €35 million ($48 million) contributed during the previous five-year period, from 2008 to 2012.[3]
