Support for Mine Action
In 2017, Ireland contributed some €110,000 (US$124,311) to the HALO Trust for mine clearance in the Republic of Somaliland.[1] As in 2016, no donors reported contributing to victim assistance programs.
Since 2012, international assistance to Somaliland’s mine action program has fallen significantly, from more than $5 million in 2012 to just some $120,000 million in 2017 (a 89% decrease).
