Support for Mine Action
In 2018, the Kingdom of Belgium contributed some €2.8 million (US$3.3 million) in mine action funding to seven countries.[1] Belgium’s mine action funding therefore decreased by 70% compared to 2016, when its contribution amounted more than €2.6 million ($2.9 million).

Between 2014–2018, Belgium’s funding to mine action totaled more than €8 million ($10.5 million), this is three-quarters less than the €30.1 million ($40.7 million) contributed during the previous five-year period, from 2008 to 2012.
