Support for Mine Action

In 2018, the Kingdom of Cambodia received US$14.4 million in international assistance from 12 donors; this represents an increase of $1.4 million from 2017 (11% increase).

The largest contribution was from the United States (US) ($3.1million) to support clearance and risk education activities, with two additional countries—China and the United Kingdom (UK)—providing more than $2 million each.[1]

Since 2014, international contributions to mine action in Cambodia totaled more than $114 million. The national strategy estimated that more than $175 million would be needed for activities in 2015–2019.[3]
