Support for Mine Action

In 2018, the Kingdom of Denmark contributed DKK147.8million (US$23.4 million)[1] in mine action funding to 11 states and global activities. This represented a 51% increase from 2017.

The largest contributions went to Iraq and Syria, both receiving respectively a contribution of more than $8 million and representing nearly three-quarters of Denmark’s total contribution for the year.

In 2014–2018, Denmark’s contributions for mine action totaled nearly DKK450million ($70.5 million). In comparison, during the previous five-year period from 2009–2013, Denmark provided DKK270 million ($49 million) to mine action.
