Support for Mine Action
In 2019, international assistance to mine action activities in the territory of Western Sahara amounted to some US$178,000 from two donors, Norway and Spain.[1]
Additionally, Switzerland provided in-kind assistance valued at CHF475,000 ($478,011) in support of clearance operations in Western Sahara.[2]

Since 2015, annual international contributions to mine action in Western Sahara have fluctuated between $2.9 million in 2017 and just $0.2 million in 2019. International contributions totaled almost $8.1 million over the five-year period from 2015–2019.
