Global Release Activities
There are many options for those of you who wish to organize an activity:
• Organize an activity to mark the release of Cluster Munition Monitor on or after 16 November,
• Organize an activity to mark the release of Landmine Monitor on or after 23 November,
• Or wait until the release of Landmine Monitor on 23 November to organize an activity marking the release of both reports.
Please email monitor@icblcmc.org to tell us about your report release activity plans. The Monitor regrets that no grants are available for those wishing to organize release activities.
In the past, campaigners have carried out a range of activities to mark the report’s release, including:
• Press conferences for local and national media
• Meetings to present government officials with report findings
• Panel discussions or debates open to the media and public
• Art, music, photography or cultural shows or exhibits
• Using the report in advocacy activities leading up to, or after, the two Meetings of States Parties
Closer to the release dates we will be offering resources to support release activities, including:
• Media Kits (press release, quick facts)
• Powerpoint presentations
• Photo galleries
• Multimedia resources
Many campaigners choose to translate some of the report or the media materials. If you would like to volunteer to translate, please email monitor@icblcmc.org
The deadline for ordering copies of the reports has now passed. You may be able to pick up copies of the reports at the Monitor tables at the following meetings:
