Support for Mine Action

The government of Chad did not report a contribution to its mine action program in 2010.

In 2010, international contributions towards mine action in Chad from the Netherlands, Canada Switzerland, Finland, and France totaled US$1,665,238.[1]

The contributions from Canada and France (in total $488,177) went towards victim assistance activities, while the remaining $1,177,061 went towards clearance.

The UN General Assembly assessed $4,323,260 in contributions for coordination, road verification, and mine and explosive remnants of war clearance for mine action for the UN Mission in the Central African Republic and Chad (MINURCAT) in eastern Chad.[2]
