Jacqueline Hansen

Jacqueline Hansen

With over a decade of advocacy, research and management experience in the field of international disarmament, Jacqueline Hansen is an authority on landmines, cluster munitions and other explosive remnants of war.

In her current position as Program Manager for Landmine and Cluster Munition Monitor, Jacqueline cultivates a US$2 million annual budget and oversees research and monitoring projects on landmines and cluster munitions for the International Campaign to Ban Landmines and the Cluster Munition Coalition.

Landmine and Cluster Munition Monitor is renowned for providing the international community with information on developments and challenges in eliminating victim-activated weapons. Its independent and impartial reporting have made it the de facto monitoring regime for two disarmament treaties.

Having lived and travelled internationally (she has visited over 30 countries and is proficient in Spanish), Jacqueline currently finds tranquility in gardening at her home in Quebec’s Gatineau Hills. She has a degree in Anthropology and Political Science from the University of Victoria.
