Landmine Monitor has been released every year since 1999 and provides a global overview of developments in mine ban policy, use, production, trade, and stockpiling, and also includes information on contamination, clearance, casualties, victim assistance, and support for mine action. From 1999–2009, Landmine Monitor included country-specific chapters. In 2010, for the first time, chapters on developments in specific countries and other areas are available in online Country Profiles.
