Support for Mine Action

In 2014, the Principality of Liechtenstein contributed CHF215,000 (US$235,050)[1] in mine action funding for clearance and victim assistance through the ICRC, the UN Mine Action Service (UNMAS), and APOPO.

Two contributions totaling CHF150,000 ($163,988) went to the ICRC for victim assistance activities, representing 70% of Liechtenstein’s contribution. The rest of its contribution was allocated to clearance activities.

Since 2010, Liechtenstein has provided constant annual contributions to mine action with a slight increase over the past two years. Between 2010–2014, Liechtenstein contributed $217,381 per year to mine action related activities.
