Support for Mine Action
In 2014, two donors contributed US$1.7 million to HALO Trust for mine clearance in the Republic of Somaliland. This represents an increase of approximately $400,000 from 2013. No donors reported contributing to victim assistance programs.
Switzerland also provided in-kind assistance valued at CHF450,000 ($491,965) through UNMAS to support clearance operations in Somaliland.[1]

Since 2010, international assistance to Somaliland’s mine action program has fallen significantly, from more than $5 million in 2010–2011 to $1.7 million in 2014.
