Support for Mine Action

In 2015, the Principality of Liechtenstein contributed CHF215,000 (US$223,307)[1] in mine action funding through the ICRC, the UN Mine Action Service (UNMAS), and APOPO.

As in 2014, two contributions totaling CHF150,000 ($155,796) went to the ICRC for victim assistance and risk education activities, representing 70% of Liechtenstein’s contribution. The rest of its contribution was allocated to clearance activities.

Since 2011, Liechtenstein has provided constant annual contributions to mine action-related activities, with an average annual contribution of some $220,000.
