Somaliland
Support for Mine Action
In 2015, two donors contributed US$1.8 million to HALO Trust for mine clearance in the Republic of Somaliland.[1] As in 2014, no donors reported contributing to victim assistance programs.
Switzerland also provided in-kind assistance valued at CHF40,000 ($41,545) through UNMAS to support clearance operations in Somaliland.[2]

Since 2011, international assistance to Somaliland’s mine action program has fallen significantly, from more than $5 million in 2011 to $1.8 million in 2015 (a 66% decrease).
