Support for Mine Action

In 2022, Croatia received €5.5 million (US$5.8 million) in international mine action assistance from the European Union (EU), for clearance activities.[1]

Croatia reported that its national contribution represented 68% of the total mine action budget for the country in 2022, though it did not report the amount.[2] In 2021, Croatia reported a state contribution of $15 million to its national mine action program.[3]

Five-year support for mine action

In the five-year period from 2018–2022, international contributions to mine action in Croatia totaled some $117.3 million, most of which (89%) was provided in 2018–2020. Croatia’s own contributions to its national mine action program in the five-year period amounted to at least $86.5 million, with the annual total not reported for 2018 or 2022.
