Support for Mine Action
In 2022, Nagorno-Karabakh received a total of US$704,813 in international mine action assistance from two donors.[1] This represented a decrease of 30% from the $1 million received in 2021. In 2020, international mine action support to Nagorno-Karabakh totaled less than $100,000.[2]
In 2022, funds from Canada went to the HALO Trust and Mines Advisory Group (MAG) for clearance, while the European Union (EU) supported victim assistance activities carried out by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
