Support for Mine Action

In 2022, six donors contributed US$10 million for mine action activities in South Sudan.[1] The largest contributions came from Germany, which provided $5 million, and the United States (US), which provided $2 million. These two contributions represented 70% of all international support to South Sudan in 2022.

International contributions funded capacity-building, clearance, and risk education activities. No support was provided for victim assistance.
